This course will educate you about the basic elements of design, basic pattern manipulation to suit your design and different body types. You will be taught how to cut and sew several designs. The training will help you to build strong sewing skills and fully understand the procedures. The course will also train you in complex works like Suit Making, bridals, corsets, corporate wears etc

Requirements 

1.  Must be posted to Mode Syth clothing 

2. Must have basic knowledge of Mathematics 

3. Fabrics and other materials for practicals

What you should have learnt at the end of this course:

  • Using manual and industrial machines.
  • Men and Women's full body measurements and sizing.
  • Fashion terminologies
  • How to draft and cut on your own
  • Professional finishing of various technical garments
  • Project consisting of one of the following: a male or female suit, a bridal gown, corset gown

  • One industrial machine bobbin case and 5 bobbins

  • 40 inch metal ruler
  • Exercise book, pen and pencil
  • 2 Big sized black thread
  • 2 big weaving thread
  • Cheap ankara fabric for training purpose
  • Refreshment for your induction will include a carton of malt, a carton of biscuits and a bottle of wine

  • 3. Startup pack (you will get the following at the end of your training: Emel EM8500 industrial straight sewing machine, pressing iron and tailoring materials [optional])- ₦420,000

Extensions
You must complete a course before you can apply for an extension.

No extra time is added when a student's time has ended.

To continue training if you still want more time, you have to subscribe monthly.

This will cost ₦20,000 a month

Payment must be made before continuation of training.
